John Pomeroy (Lighting Designer)

John Pomeroy (Lighting Designer) is in his 36th year as a theatre designer and technician, with 30 years as a professor of technical theatre with Drake University. John has served as technical director and lighting designer with Pyramid Theatre Company for the past eight years and has been a union stagehand as a member of IATSE since 1997 having previously served as president of Local #67. For Drake, John teaches a variety of technical theatre courses, works as the technical director for the Department of Theatre Arts and the School of Fine Arts, engineering scenery and stage effects, and supervises the scene shop.
