Permissions is a reflective series of short monologues, poems and song, performed by the artists of the Collab Lab Program in Des Moines, Iowa. The themes of the spoken words shared revolve around the ability of Black artists to exist, take up space, face obstacles, and thrive. The video features contributions from:
