It was just announced that Stephanie Ybarra, the current artistic director of Baltimore Center Stage, will be stepping down on April 1 to become Program Office in Arts and Culture at the Mellon Foundation. Ken-Matt Martin, a founding member of Pyramid Theatre Company, will serve as interim artistic director while the company searches nationally for a successor.
Ken-Matt Martin is the former artistic director of Chicago’s Victory Gardens Theatre, and is set to lead BCS’s production of Tiny Beautiful Things, starting this March.
