Alexis J. Davis (CEE CEE)

Alexis J. Davis is a founding member and current Producer of Pyramid Theatre Company. She is excited to be a cast member in this very necessary and needed production for the Des Moines community. A native of Country Club Hills, IL, she came to Des Moines to attend Drake University, where she received her bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications in 2013 and a master's in communications leadership in 2017. She is the Custom Content Strategy and Production Manager at Business Publications Corporation for dsm Magazine and BPC custom. Alexis is passionate about community engagement and diversity and bringing arts back into education. She currently serves as the first President of Drake University's Black Alumni Association and is a member of several other boards and committees. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and currently serves as the  Second Vice President for the Des Moines Alumnae Chapter and as Secondary Advisor to the Phi Chapter representing the campuses of Drake University and Iowa State University. She dedicates this production performance to her parents and the Black women who have played major roles in her life, especially her mother, Fredrika, her great Aunt, Ernestine (Chris), and her PTC sister, Tiffany Johnson.
