Davida Williams (Rose Berry)

 

Davida Williams (Rose Berry) "It's great to be back home." Davida has been involved with Pyramid since the first season in 2016, playing Ruth in A Raisin in the Sun. She went on to play Sis. Boxer in Amen Corner, and Esther in Intimate Apparel, a role that earned her the 2019 Cloris Award for best actress. Most recently, Davida experienced her directorial debut with ISTC, directing Trouble In Mind by Alice Childress.

Past collaborations have been in the play Sweat playing the role of Cynthia, Exit Strategy playing the role of Pam, and the world premiere of Adore Us!, as Vice President Kamala Harris. She has also enjoyed working with Open Door Rep, where her work was nominated for Best Supporting Actress (Dead Dog Park), Tall grass Theatre, and DM Young Artists theatre. 

Born and raised in Des Moines, she has been on stage since the age of 14. Davida studied theater and performing arts at Grandview University, and has acted in countless industrials and some print work. Davida has also cultivated a very promising voice acting career over the last ten years, lending her voice to projects for Iowa State, Delta Dental, Verizon, and other companies across the country. She's a proud mother of three and grandmother of three.
