DeShana Taylor (Jackie Williams)

DeShana Taylor (Jackie Williams) is a native Iowan who fell in love with theater in her late twenties.  Her stage credits include: 

Private Passage, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide / When the Rainbow Is Enuf, A Raisin in the Sun, Shakin’ the Mess Outta Misery, Trip to Bountiful, A Pyg’s Eye, All My Sons, Crowns, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, Mississippi Goddamn and Disgraced to name a few. Her favorite role to date has been Mayme in Intimate Apparel. DeShana has collaborated with the Langston Hughes Players, Repertory Theater of Iowa, Des Moines Playhouse, Iowa Stage, Kingman Row Entertainment. She is also a resident artist and board member of Pyramid Theatre Company.
